The Davey Stone Propane Fire Pit Table is a propane gas fire pit table with a wooden top and a stone base.
Its construction is unique and looks as though it was hand-built. According to the manufacturers, it was Inspired by rustic mountain lodges and the woods. The fire area is made from steel and finished with a heat resistant coating. It is not a too big product, just about the same as a medium-sized outdoor table.
Assembling is required to set up this fire pit table, all the tools to be used are included, and it takes about 20 minutes to be completed. The fire pit uses a propane gas tank, and there is space in the base to contain a 20 pounds sized tank, and a tank of such size can last for up to 20 hours. Just as most propane fire pits, this one does not come with a propane tank. You have to get it separately. There is a square door in the front to access the fire pit base, and the fire starts easily with a dial ignition.
You can adjust the flame height between low and high, and it rises to about 9 – 11 when on the highest setting with a satisfying heat output of 40,000 BTU. The fire pit comes with 5 pounds of lava rocks, but you can either use lava rocks or glass fire beads with the fire pit.
As a propane fire pit, it is safe to use on a wooden deck, and you can place it directly on the deck without needing any barrier under it. It weighs about 90 pounds, so it has a little bit of weight but is still portable, two people can carry it conveniently. You get a sturdy PVC outdoor cover for securing the fire pit when not in use.
